How is Usage Tracked for the MCP Preview?
MCP preview usage is tracked through Record Under Management (RUM) counts. Querying a unique D‑U‑N‑S® Number related to a business record within the Dun & Bradstreet Commercial Graph will result in RUM usage. After a record has been counted towards your RUM usage, that record can be enriched repeatedly without counting against the remaining RUM total, allowing users to continue testing or creating new prompts for those business records.
How to Track Usage within the MCP Preview
Preview access and full access include entitlement to the RUMSpendTool. The RUMSpendTool (Record Under Management Spend Tool) is utilized to determine the current spending amount under management for a user. This tool is specifically designed to monitor the utilization rate of enterprise-level services or resources, such as data access or API calls.
